Served from VA. Soldier was a Private. Soldier was b. 8-7-1757 VA and applied for pension on 4-18-1836 Garrard Co., KY. His wife was Louisianna (?????).

Served from NY. Soldier was a Private. Soldier was b.9-15-1758 RI and d.3-25-1813 NY. His 1st wife was Rebecca Palmer , his 2nd wife was Hannah Bishop Carpenter.

 

Darius Perkins
Served from MA. Private. Capt. Timothy Heald's Co., Col. Samuel McCobb's Regiment. Enlisted July 25th 1779, discharged Sept. 25th, 1779. Service 3 months 1 day. On Penobscot expedition.

Private. Capt. John Kettell's Co., Maj. Nathaniel Heath's detachment of guards. Enlisted Aug. 23rd, 1779 and discharged Sept. 30th, 1779. Service 1 month, also given 1 month, 9 days. Company detached from Militia for 3 months service at and about Boston, MA. Term expire Oct. 1st, 1779.

Served from NY & CT. Soldier was a Private. Soldier was b. 1757 NH and d.1-19-1819 Berkshire, Franklin Co., VT. His wives name was Hannah __________. In 1820 she resided at Champlain, Clinton Co., NY

Served from MA. Soldier was b.1763 MA and d. 2-28-1853 Johnson, VT. His wife was Sarah Wilkins.


 

Daniel Perkins (9) - S- 19026 - 28.924
Served from CT. Soldier was born 1760. He lived at Windham, Windham Co., CT at the time of enlistment in 1777. In 1832 he applied from Chelsea, Orange Co., VT. He served in Capt. Clark's company, commanded by Col. Spencer of the Connecticut Militia. In Dec. 1777, he was ordered to the state of Rhode Island to join a regiment stationed at Providence, RI for 3 months under the command of Col. Spencer & that he was verbally discharged the 4th or 5th of April, 1778. On July 1st, 1778 he enlisted or volunteered again in the Connecticut Militia in the company commanded by Simon Smith & Col. George Willy's for the term of 3 months. On the last day of July 1778 he joined the company at Buitanmark, CT about 10 miles from Norwich, CT making Fascines & Gabions for fortifications. He also guarded the Continental stores or stoves >? . He believes he stayed two months. In 1779, he again joined the Continental Militia as a substitute for his father Jacob Perkins in the company commanded by Capt. Tinkers, Leiut. Young & Engign Roberts and in the regiment commanded by Col. Stoans of Mansfield, CT. He was ordered to Grafton, CT for three months. He was engaged at Grafton and Fort Griswold when he was discharged at Fort Griswold in Nov. 1779. He enlisted again in 1780 for 9 months. In 1781 as a guard to guard the jails at Windham, CT which contained about 200 British prisoners. He also was a guard at New London, CT. After fulfilling his time in New London, CT he then volunteered with Alfred Bingham for two months boating back and forth across the River, he served under Capt. Robinson\Robertson, Col. Ledyard regiment. His believes his service consisted of about 18 months & 8 or 10 days total the War Dept. found he served 16 months.. In 1832 he made an affidavit for pension for a man named Lyman Back who served with him under Simon Smith & Col. George Willy.

Private. (late) Capt. Samuel Sayer's Co. commanded by Lt. Samuel Young subsequent to Aug. 3rd, 1779 (late) Maj. Littlefield's detachment of York Co., militia. July 7th, 1779 entered service. Sept. 6th, 1779. 2 months service. Penobscot expedition.

David Perkins (11)
Sergeant. Capt. Benjamin Gould's Co., Col. Wade's Regiment. Entered service July 6th, 1780 and discharged Oct. 10th, 1780. Service 3  months, 17 days including 12 days of travel home. Regiment raised in Essex Co. to reinforce the Continental Army for 3 months. Topsfield roll.

Private. Topsfield, MA. Capt. Robert Dodge's Co., Col. Ebenezer Francis's regiment. Nov. 20th, 1776 pay abstract for travel allowance to camp and home. Perkins credited 2 days allowance (40 miles) for travel. Company drafted from Amesbury, Newbury, Rowley, Ipswich, Topsfield, Wenham & Lynn, MA.

Served from SC. Soldier was a Private. Soldier was b. 1760 SC and received pension 1800 SC. His wife was Margaret Williams.

Served from MA. Soldier applied from Topsfield, MA. Soldier d.7-27-1827 Topsfield, MA. His wife was Nabby Conant. Elijah Perkins made a statement on wives behalf from Topsfield, MA age 73 in 1839.

 

David Perkins (10) - S- 03656
Served from MA. Soldier was b. 1765 at Freetown, MA. In 1803 he lived in New Marlboro, VT. Then he moved to Chenango Point, NY until 1813. He removed then to Gorham, Ontario Co., NY until 1815 and then moved to Cuyahoga Co., OH.
