JOHN PERKINS
John Perkins b. ca.1805 VA d. before 1850 Allen Co., OH. His 2nd. wife Mrs. HANNAH (MORRISON) ROBERTS, widow of William Roberts. They came to Ohio from Greenbrier Co., VA about 1830/1831. They are listed on the 1840 OH Census at Auglaize Township, Allen Co., OH.

His known children were:

1. John Perkins b.1830 VA
2. Sarah Perkins b.1833 VA
3. Amanllis Perkins b.1836 VA

His 1st wife CATHERINE (UNKNOWN);  2nd wife m. 1862;  ELIZABETH J. (GROVES). They were listed on the 1850 & 1860 Census at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH. He was again listed on the 1880 Census at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH with his widowed daughter.

DAVID PERKINS, Rev.
Rev. David Perkins b.1807 VT. d.3.12.1864 Suffield, Portage Co., OH. His wife m. 1827 Summit Co., OH;  ELECTRA (TUPPER) a dau. of Reuben  & Hilda (Hurlbut) Tupper. He was paying taxes at Suffield, Portage Co., OH in 1832/1833. They were listed on the 1840 Census at Suffield, Portage Co., Ohio where he died. David Perkins was an earlier settler and came to this county (Portage Co., OH in 1814\1815). He is supposed to be listed in Portage Co., OH in 1830 but, the census images at Ancestry.com and Familysearch.org are so poor that they are missing their text.

ELISHA PERKINS
Elisha Perkins b. ca.1790 VT or NY. **Possibly** Son of (Stephen & Ruth (Bishop) Perkins). He came from New York to Ohio. His wife is JUDITH (PRIOR or STILES ?) b.1791 Hampshire Co., MA d.1862 OH. In 1824, it is noted in the *History of Summit Co., OH that Elisha Perkins was a brother-in-law of Elisha Prior who m. *Katharine (Stiles) and I have also seen it written that Elisha Prior wives name was Harriet (Stiles). They were listed on the 1810-1830 Ohio Census at Northampton, Portage Co., OH. He was later of Northampton, Summit Co., OH after 1840. The township didn't change, only the county.
