Grant Perkins(7) b. ca. 1787 MA. Son of (Phineas(6) & Unknown (Unknown) Perkins)[son of Thomas(5) & Mary (Standish) Perkins, Thomas(4), John(3),Thomas(2), John(1) of Ipswich, MA] . His wife m. 1.15.1811 or m. 2.8.1811 OH  SOPHIA (BLISH) b.1789. They were listed on the 1830 Census at Bainbridge, Geauga Co., Ohio. In 1850 he is listed at Solon, Cuyahoga Co., OH.

His known children were:

AMBROSE PERKINS

Ambrose Perkins b.1787/1791 CT d.1865 OH. Son of (Aaron & Odice (Unknown) Perkins, a son of John & Thankful (Chamberlin) Perkins). His wife ELECTA (FORD) b.1787 d.1866. They were listed on the 1830 Census in Middlefield, Geauga Co., OH. He came to Ohio from Connecticut in 1818. He was a Baptist Minister. He first settled in Sandusky, OH before removing to Middlefield, Geauga Co., OH.

Their known children were:

William Lee Perkins, Attorney b.1.22.1799 Ashford, Windham Co., CT d.1882 OH. 3rd Son of 11 children of (William & Mary (LEE) Perkins of Ashford, CT - CT State Attorney and Senator). He removed from CT to Painesville, Ohio in 1828. His 1st wife JULIA (GILLETTE) b. 1803 ? d.9.24.1830 OH, his 2nd wife m. 1837; MARGARETTA SARAH (OAKLEY) WAITE, dau. of Daniel Oakley, Esq. of Painesville, OH.  They were listed on the 1830 Census at Painesville, Geauga Co., OH. In 1840 the town of Painesville, Geauga, OH was changed to Painesville, Lake Co., OH. Husband, wife and small children all buried at the Evergreen Cemetery - Painesville, Lake Co., OH.

John Perkins Jr. b.1811 N.Y. d.12.19.1859 OH. Son of (John Sr. & Unknown (Unknown) Perkins). His wife CYNTHIA (LOCKMAN). They were married at Painesville, Geauga Co., OH on May 28th, 1835. In 1840, Painesville, Geauga Co., OH became Painesville, Lake Co., OH. She m. 2nd. John Dickinson in 1864. They are buried together at the Evergreen Cemetery, Painesville, Lake Co., OH.

James Perkins b. ca. 1784  d. 1835 Osnaburg, Stark Co., Ohio. His 1st wife m.(1810); RACHEL (SHAW) b.1778 his 2nd wife m.(1826);  ELIZABETH (SMITH). They were listed on the 1830 Census at Stark Co., OH. His son,  John Perkins was the administrator of the estate of James Perkins. His children removed to Wells Co., Indiana.
