Oliver Perkins b.1740-1760 CT or MA, d.1805 NY. Son of (Oliver
& Hannah (Gates) Perkins). His wife is Unknown. They were
listed on the 1790 NY Census at Saratoga, Albany Co., NY & in 1800 at
Saratoga, Saratoga Co., NY
His known children were:
1. Jacob Perkins
2. Gamaliel Perkins b.1788
3.(possibly) Oliver Perkins b.1789 - d.1839 Bureau Co., IL
4. Prudence Perkins
5. Sally Perkins
6. Betsy Perkins
7. Charlotte Perkins *Some have suggested his wife
was named "Ann Kennedy others have suggested that his cousin Oliver Perkins,
son of Oliver & Ruth (Wilcox) Perkins, was married to Ann Kennedy. |

Elkanah Perkins b.1774 NH Grants of Land
as well as New York land grants in the land area which in 1777 became
the town of Arlington, Bennington Co., VT. His wife
RHODA (GREEN).
They were married in 1795 in the area of Saratoga, Saratoga
Co., NY known as the village of Schylerville. The village of
Schylerville was not incorporated until 1831. He was a soldier in
the War of 1812 and was known to have deserted his post at Plattsburgh,
Clinton Co., NY in Feb. 1815. I have
been unable to locate this couple on any census - No other information
is known.

His wife MARY (RECORD). They came from
South Kingston, RI to Albany & Montgomery Co., NY. They were listed on the 1790
Census at both Easton, Albany Co., NY and Caughnawaga
(Broadalbin) Montgomery Co.,
NY. He was listed at both places because he was in Easton, NY in early part
of 1790 and in Caughnawaga (Broadalbin), NY in the later part of 1790.

were then listed in 1800 at Broadalbin, Montgomery Co., NY.

Paltz, Ulster Co., NY Census. Their known
children were:

Voluntown/Preston, CT and removed to Coventry, RI in the 1730's. He was
living at Brookhaven, Suffolk Co., Long Island, NY in early 1741. He was then
in the Fredericksburgh Precinct (Dutchess, then Putnam) in 1747. He
buys land in New Paltz, Ulster Co
in 1760, and sells part to son Ebenezer Perkins and part to son Zophar
Perkins (below) in the 1760's. |

William Perkins b. ? d. 8.17.1795.
His wife ELIZABETH (Unknown). They
were listed on the 1790 Census at Duanesburgh, Albany Co., NY. He filed
his last will and testament on May 6th, 1794 with court at Albany Co.,
NY. In his will he lists two children by name and mentioned a heir that
may be born after his will was written. He left all 3 children twenty
shillings and his wife the remainder of his estate.
