PEREZ PERKINS
Perez Perkins b. 1773 CT d. 1839 PA. Son of (Jonathan Coit Perkins & Unknown (Unknown) Perkins) He is listed on the 1830 PA Census in Bridgewater, Susquehanna Co., PA. His 1st wife ELISBA (EMMONS). m. 2nd. REBECCA (Unknown) b. 1783 CT. On the 1850 census, Rebecca (Unknown) Perkins is listed at Bridgewater, Susquehanna Co., PA with her niece, REBECCA PERKINS FARGO age.23. The census taker has listed Rebecca Perkins Fargo only as "Rebecca" and giving no last name. Through research, I have learned that she was indeed Rebecca Perkins Fargo according to the will of Perez Perkins, she was his "Beloved Niece".

In his will he mentioned his "Nephew" Quartus Perkins (Below) and his beloved "Niece", Rebecca Perkins Fargo.

*Perez Perkins was the brother of Elisha Perkins b.1766 CT who m. Huldah (Stewart), the parents of Quartus Perkins (below)

QUARTUS PERKINS
Quartus Perkins b.1800 CT. Son of (Elisha & Huldah (Stewart) Perkins) and the nephew of Perez Perkins (above). His wife ALMIRA "Mira" (CHAPMAN). They were listed on the 1830-1850 PA Census in Bridgewater, Susquehanna Co., PA.

Their known children were:

1.Asa Perkins b.1836 PA
2.Mary Perkins b.1845 PA
3.Charles L. Perkins b.1846 PA
4.John Perkins b.1849 PA

JACOB PERKINS
Jacob Perkins(5) b.1764 Groton, CT d.1846 Montrose, Susquehanna Co., PA. Son of (Ebenezer & Eunice (Unknown) Perkins;  who was wounded at the Battle of Ft. Griswold]. His wife is AMY (BAILY) b.1767 d.1851 Montrose, Susquehanna Co., PA. In 1850 she was living with her son Silas Perkins (below). In 1810 Jacob and Amy Perkins came from CT to PA with nine children. They were listed on the 1820-1830 PA Census at Bridgewater, Susquehanna Co., PA. They also resided in Dimock, Susquehanna Co., PA before settling in Montrose, PA.

His known children were:

FRANCIS PERKINS
Francis Perkins(6) b.1792 "on the Thames River",  Groton, CT d. 1862 Bourbon Co., Kansas. Son of (Jacob & Amy (Baily) Perkins).  His wife REBECCA CHILDS (SHERMAN) b. VT, her parents natives of Rhode Island.  He removed to the Susquehanna Valley with his parents in 1810. He was listed on the 1820-1840 PA Census at Bridgewater, Susquehanna Co., PA. By 1850 he removed to Carbondale, Luzerne Co., PA. In 1860 he is listed with wife ELIZABETH (UNKNOWN) b.1805 England  at Hammondsville, Jefferson Co., Ohio. They settled at Bourbon Co., Kansas where he died. His wife died at Carbondale, PA.

Their known children were:

2.Christopher S. Perkins b. ca. 1822-1826 PA m. Eliza (Hyde)      *Resided in Susquehanna Co., PA  *Resided 1860 Hammondsville, Jefferson Co., OH

5.Eunice "Emma" C. Perkins b.1826-1832 PA m. Jedediah Bowen      *Removed to Ripon, WI,

*The Thames River flows for 15 miles through Norwich to New London and Groton, CT*

Christopher S. Perkins b. ca. 1822-1826 Susquehanna Co., PA. Son of (Francis & Rebecca Childs (Sherman) Perkins). His wife ANN ELIZA (HYDE). He is listed with his wife on the 1860 Census at Hammondsville, Jefferson Co., OH. He is listed on the 1870 Census at Brooklyn, Susquehanna Co., PA.

Their known children were:

2. Lucy Perkins b. 1854 PA
3. Charles Perkins b.1857 PA
4. Antoinette "Nettie" Perkins b.1863PA
