Rufus Perkins b. ca. 1762/1763 Bridgewater or Ashfield, MA d.10.30.1848 Polo, IL. Son of (Timothy &  Zipporah (Washburn) Perkins of Ashfield, MA).  His 1st wife CAROLINE (Unknown) m. 2nd. NANCY (BRACKETT). They were listed on the 1820 & 1830 New York Census at Delhi, Delaware Co. He later moved to Buffalo Grove, Ogle Co., IL.

His known children w/Caroline were:

They were not listed on the 1820 census or missed on the 1820 Andover, Allegany Co., NY Census. They are listed on the 1825 New York State Census at Truxton, Cortland Co., NY. It was probably his wife "Lydia Perkins" listed on the 1830 Census at Truxton, Courtland Co., NY. After 1855 they removed to Chagrin Falls, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.

RUFUS PERKINS JR.
Rufus Perkins Jr. b. ca.1815 NY d.1875 at sea. Son of (Rufus & Nancy (Brackett) Perkins). His wife JANE (WEBSTER). They resided at Delhi, Delaware Co., NY. He perished on the steamer "Pacific" on the Pacific Ocean on Nov. 4th, 1875. They removed to Buffalo Grove, Ogle Co., IL. In 1882 she removed to Iola, Allen Co., KS.
