PELMEDUS PERKINS
Pelmedus Perkins b.1802 Grafton, Windham Co., VT d.1870. Son of (Philip & Sally (Gibson) Perkins & Grandson of Charles & Abigail (Waterman) Perkins). His wife m. 1823; ALVIRA/ELVIRA (WARREN) b.1806. They were listed on the 1850 Census at Pomfret, Chautauqua Co. NY. On the 1870 MI Census at Owasso, Shiawassee Co., MI.

Their known children were:

3. William W. Perkins b.1828 NY

4. Franklin P. Perkins b.1831 NY

5. Charles E. Perkins b.1836 NY d.1837  *Buried at Wrights Cemetery, Wyoming Co., NY.

7. Seraph A. Perkins b.1842 d.1843

JABEZ PERKINS
Dr. Jabez Perkins, M.D. b.10-26-1820 Defiance, OH d. 11.6.1907 Owasso, Shiawassee Co., MI. Son of (John & Abigail (Jones) Perkins).  In 1850 he resided at Springville (Cambridge?), Lenawee Co., MI and then in 1860 removed to Owasso, Shiawassee Co., MI.  He was a Medical Doctor and served in the Civil War. His wife was EVORA I. (DOANE). He is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Owasso, MI.

Unknown Children at this time.

*Historical Note*
John Pirkins / Perkins, father of Dr. Jabez Perkins of this sketch; was a native of Pennsylvania. At the age of 2 years, he removed to Lexington, KY with his father Richard Pirkins / Perkins. Richard Pirkins / Perkins was a native of New England.

Waterman Perkins b.1810 Windham Co., VT d.1887 MI. Son of (Philip & Sally (Gibson) Perkins) & Grandson of Charles & Abigail (Waterman) Perkins). His wife MARIAH (GAY). He is listed on the 1840 & 1850 & 1860 MI Census in Shiawassee Co., MI.

Their known children were:

SPRAGUE PERKINS
Sprague Perkins b.1795 d. 1847 Owosso, Shiawassee Co., MI. Son of (Sprague & Elizabeth "Betsey" (Hitchcock) Perkins, From Stafford, [Batavia], Genesee Co., NY-1820). His  1st wife MARY (LEPPER) b. 1806, his 2nd wife MARIA M. (MATHER \ MATTHEWS) b. 1798-1812 Cleveland, OH or Greenfield, Erie Co., PA. She m. 2nd. (1849) Briggs Stetson). They came from Columbus, Warren Co., PA where they were listed in 1830. They were listed on the 1840 MI Census in Shiawassee Co., MI.  In 1850 Maria (Mather\Matthews) (Perkins) Stetson is listed with her 2nd husband in Erie Co., PA.

His known children were:

1. Sanford S. Perkins b.1820 PA
2. Stephen Perkins b.1828 PA
3. Joseph Perkins b. ?
4. Clara Perkins b. ? m. ________ Buss
5. Jenette "Nettie" Perkins b. 1843

In 1830 This family was of Columbus, Warren Co., PA
