His wife BETSEY (WORDEN). b. ? d.5.28.1857 He removed with his parents to Hampton, NY in 1785. They were listed on the 1810 NY Census at Hampton, Washington Co., NY and in 1820-1830 at Warsaw, Genesee Co., New York census. This couple also resided at DeKalb, Co., IL until 1851 then moved to Beloit, Rock Co., WI.

Poultney, Rutland Co., VT d.1864 Cortland, IL.  He removed with his parents in 1785 to New York. They were listed on the New York Census at Hampton, Washington Co., NY. In 1830 resided at Warsaw, Genesee Co., NY. In 1850 they were listed at Warsaw, Wyoming Co., NY. In 1851 he removed to Courtland, Illinois with their son, Moses S. Perkins.

He was the brother of *Zenas/Zenos Perkins b.5.15.1783 MA
He was the brother of Joel Perkins b.3.7.1803 MA
He was the brother of Hannah Perkins b.10.11.1787 MA

**More Research Needed on his wife and children**

**Some researchers have this Ezra Perkins listed as being Alva Ezra Perkins b.1799, son of Nathaniel & Martha Perkins.  This is not possible when Alva Ezra Perkins b.1799 lived at Norway, Herkimer Co., NY in 1830.

**The early New York census (1810-1830) clearly shows that this Ezra Perkins birth year was between 1781-1790**. His birth record, along with his brothers birth record are recorded in the Vital Records at New Marlborough, MA

Matthew Perkins b.1777 Becket, Berkshire Co., MA d.1808 Massena, St. Lawrence Co., NY. Son of (Ephraim(5) & Mary (Chaplin) Perkins (Mathew(4), Joseph(3), John(2),John(1) Sr. of Ipswich). His wife m. 1803;  SALLY (TIBBETS).  He was the first Surrogate of St. Lawrence Co., NY. It is probably his wife Sally Perkins who was listed on the 1810 NY Census at Lisbon, St. Lawrence Co., N.Y.

Their known children were:
