Mrs. JULIA M. PERKINS, died at her home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, May 13th. This estimable lady was the wife of L. A. Perkins to whom she was married in 1860. Deceased was well known in this community having lived here some fifteen years. To those who know Mrs. Perkins no words are needed to describe her worth as wife, mother and member of society. IN all these relations she was a model woman, esteemed and beloved by all who knew her. To the bereaved husband and children goes the sympathy of many friends in this community.

Mr. JOSHUA PERKINS, died at his home in this village on Sunday evening. The friends have the sympathy of the entire community.

Baraboo Republic - Baraboo, Sauk Co., WI - August 1st, 1900

JOSEPH PERKINS, Sr. , died at Dodgeville Friday at the advanced age of 83 years and 7 months. He came to Dodgeville when quite young and has always since made that city his home. He was the head of perhaps the largest family in Iowa county, the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren number about 100. He was the father of E. J. Perkins, superintendent of the Iowa county insane asylum.
