Daniel Perkins b. 1757-1763 MA - d.1.26.1853 VT. Son of (Thomas & Susanna (Presscott) Perkins). His wife SARAH (WILKINS). They were listed on the 1810 and 1820 VT Census at Johnson, Franklin Co., VT. In 1850 they were living with their son William Perkins at Johnson, Lamoille Co., VT.

Their known children were:

Daniel Perkins b.1757 ? d. 10.19.1819. He received his Rev. War Pension payment in 1818 at Berkshire, Franklin Co., VT. His wife HANNAH (Unknown). In 1820 his widow is listed was living at Champlain, Clinton Co., NY.

"Parkins". In 1835 a part of Franklin Co., VT was taken to form Lamoille County, VT. The township of Johnson, VT became a township in Lamoille Co., VT. They were listed on the 1840 Census at Johnson, Lamoille Co., VT.

THOMAS H. PERKINS

Thomas Harlow Perkins b. 8.8.1789 or 8.12.1789 Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT d. 10.2.1864 Volo, Lake Co., IL. Son of (John & Hannah (Gardner) Perkins). His wife LUCINDA (MARSH) b.1787 Hartland, VT d.1850 Clinton Co., IL. They were listed on the 1820 Census at Cambridge, Franklin Co., VT. I also believe that he was listed on the 1820 Census at Barnard, Windsor Co., VT Census at the same time. He may have first been enumerated in Windsor Co., VT and then moved to Franklin Co., VT just in time to be enumerated again. In 1835 the town of Cambridge, VT became a town in Lamoille Co., VT. They removed to Illinois where they both died.

*2018 UPDATE On Clarence Linden Lathrop Perkins - A YDNA test was done through FamilyTreeDNA.com on a descendant of Clarence L. Perkins. The descendant did not match with anyone from the PERKINS Y-DNA Group and also did not match with anyone in the
LATHROP Y-DNA Group but, the descendant received notification through Ancestry.com that they do relate to Thomas Harlow Perkins line (most likely through the female line).. This is a pretty good indication then that Clarence L. Perkins was the son of Adaline G. Perkins but,
may not be the son of Wm. Lathrop. There were not a lot of "Lathrop" testers. More "Lathrop" men from the linage of William Lathrop would need to test.
