Luke P. Perkins b.1808 VT d.1889 VT. Son of (Elisha & Mary (Conant) Perkins). His wife ELIZABETH (CROSS). They were listed on the 1850 Census at Weathersfield, Windsor Co., VT. In 1860 he resided at Springfield, Windsor Co., VT

Luther Perkins b.1801 Perkinsville (near Weathersfield ), Windsor Co., VT d.2.3.1881 Perkinsville, VT. Son of (Jacob & Deborah "Debby" (Rand) Perkins). His wife, m. 1827 VT; BETSEY (WOODS) b. ? Rindge, N. H.. They were listed on the 1850 Census at Weathersfield, Windsor Co., VT.

Their known children were:

1. Sophronia Perkins b.1830 VT
2. Harriet Perkins b.1832 VT
3. Susan Perkins b.1834 VT
4. Mary Perkins b.1839 VT
5. Charles Perkins b.1843 VT
6. Caroline Perkins b.1846 VT

*Johnathan Perkins b. 1771 N.H. aged 79 was listed right next door to Luther Perkins with no wife, no children. This could be Luther's father *Jacob* Perkins who was known to have died in 1854 at Weathersfield, VT. This could be an error on the census taker who transcribed his name as Johnathan Perkins instead of Jacob Perkins, or, his fathers true name was either Jacob Johnathan Perkins or Johnathan Jacob Perkins ???
