His known children w/1st wife were:

JACOB PERKINS\PURKINS
Jacob Perkins\Purkins b.1778 NH d.1841\1854?. Son of (Able & Mary (Baker) Perkins). His wife m. 1798 NH;  DEBBY (RAND). They were not listed on the 1800 Census at Weathersfield, Windsor Co., VT but, they were known to have resided there. The town clerk of Weathersfield, VT recorded the names and births of his children but, I am uncertain if they were actually born in VT or in MA. It is mentioned in the below source book, that Jacob Perkins had removed to Newton, MA. It is from there he removed from to Weathersfield, Windsor Co., VT.

They are listed on the 1820 Census at Weathersfield, Windsor Co., VT.
