        Master of Suffolk Co., dated Boston, May 25th, 1777 to Sept. 15th, 1777; 
        reported killed; also, Capt. Reed's Co., Col. Ichabod Alden's regt. ; 
        return dated Jan. 12th, 17787; mustered by Suffolk Co., Muster Master 
        Barber and by a Continental Muster Master.  Enlisted May 16th, 1775 for service of eight months at 
        Roxbury. Capt. Hazeltine's Co., Col. Fellow's Regiment. Reenlisted 1776. 
        March 1777 engaged for three years in Continental Army in Capt. Reed's 
        Co., Col. Alden's Regiment. He was killed on Sept. 15th, 1777. Feb. 1766 
        m. Mary Ford of Pembroke. Widow married 2nd Capt. John Crawford.
