    (Unknown) Perkins).  His wife PHILINDA (POST) (dau. of Noah Post) 
    b. 7.16.1819 Georgia, Franklin Co., VT d.6.4.1851 Cambridge, Lenawee Co., MI 
    .They were
    married 1813 at Dunham, Quebec, Canada and resided there for awhile. They 
    also resided in New Hampshire and in 
    the 1820's removed to Franklin Co., NY and then Orleans Co., NY
    and located on a farm. They are listed on the 1830 New York Census at 
    Shelby, Orleans Co., NY. In 1838 they removed to Michigan. They are listed 
    on the 1850 Census at Adrian, Lenawee Co., MI. 
 His brothers were Nathaniel Perkins and 
    James
    Perkins of Quebec, Canada and a sister Sarah "Sally" Perkins who 
    married John Aitken, of Quebec, Canada. It has been suggested that he was a 
    brother of 
    George Perkins.

    newspaper item dated 7-1-1881 in Hudson MI said Dr Willard Perkins had 
    received notice of the death of an elder brother in Wisconsin. Another dated 
    7 15 1894 said that Dr Perkins' brother died in Eldorado IA. The brothers 
    had not seen each other in over 40 years. Unfortunately, there were no first 
    names in either. Dr Perkins' obituary in 1919 mentioned that Mr. and Mrs. 
    Fred George of Fayette OH (maybe IA?) had attended his funeral in Adrian
