MI. I find several other land purchase for a Thomas H. Perkins in various
counties between 1837 to 1865 but, I am uncertain if it is the same Thomas
H. Perkins. He is listed on the 1840 MI Census in
Brandon, Oakland Co., MI.

NY, came from Locke, Cayuga Co., NY. Came to Michigan with her brother
Benjamin Perkins (above). She m. 1837 to *William
Dawson and settled in Tyrone, Livingston Co., MI. In 1856 this
family removed to Rockford, Floyd Co., IA. *William
Dawson was 1st m. to ______ Daniels, sister of Elias Daniels. By the
1870 Census, Henrietta (Perkins) Dawson & family are listed living at
Tyrone, Livingston Co., MI. In 1880 she listed that her father was born
in Rhode Island. William Dawson b.1808 NY d.1883 at Hazelton, Shiawassee
Co., MI.
