Chancy H. Perkins b.1826 Huron Co., OH d.1912 Bancroft, Portage Co., WI. Son of (Daniel & Mary "Polly" (Gilbert) Perkins). His 1st wife m.1850 Warrick, IN; MARY (BURR), his 2nd wife m.5.29.1892 Pine Grove, Portage Co., WI; ELIZABETH (CRIPPEN) BISBY\BISBEE. He came from Huron Co., OH to Warrick Co., Indiana & then Fulton Co., Illinois before removing to Pine Grove, Portage Co., Wisconsin. He was listed on the 1850 Census with his brother David Perkins at Warrick Co., IN. They were listed on the 1870-1910 Census at Pine Grove, Portage Co., WI. In 1894 during a special court session, Chancy H. Perkins was appointed a guardian by the name of John C. Meddaugh due to Chancy Perkins being deemed incompetent by reason of old age and ill health. In 1900 he and his wife Elizabeth are living with her son Frank Bisbee at Pine Grove, Portage Co., OH. In 1905 just Elizabeth Perkins is living with her son Frank Bisbee at Portage Co., WI and in 1910 Chauncy Perkins is listed as widowed and is living in the household of Sarah Meddaugh, widow of John C. Meddaugh.
