In 1870 he was a clerk in a drug store and by 1880 he was listed as a Druggist. In 1900 he is listed with his wife, m.1883 Lucas Co., OH;  FRANCIS M. (BEAUDOIN) at Milford, Oakland Co., MI. In 1910 & 1920 they were living at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.
