        was listed on the July 26th 1860 Census at Rockville, Kankakee Co., IL with his 
        wife and his brother Charles & wife Jane Perkins. 
        Charles & Jane Perkins return to Calhoun Co., MI and are listed on the 
        Aug. 10th, 1860 Census with their brother Silas 
        Perkins (above).  In 1870 he 
        removed to Jackson, Calhoun Co., IA and eventually settled at Elm Grove, 
        Calhoun Co., IA. His known children were: 1. Martin E. Perkins b.1857 MI
