        Rutland Co., VT. He came to Castleton, Rutland Co., VT in 1818 where he 
        studied Medicine for three years and graduated from the Vermont Academy 
        of Medicine at Castleton, VT in 1821. His known children w/Mary

 *Theodore Perkins and 
    Martha (Conant) were from Bridgewater, MA, moved to Pomfret, VT and then to 
    Plainfield, VT. They located on a pitch in the southwestern part of the 
    town. In 1794 he sold his claim and moved to Montpelier, VT. In 1798 he went 
    to Kentucky to look after a tract of several thousand acres that he had 
    inherited. He wrote back that his claim was good, and that he was coming 
    back for his family. He was never heard from again. His friends thought he 
    was murdered. His wife removed to Lyme, N.H., in 1800. Their son Alfred 
    Perkins b.1793 was the first white child born in Plainfield, VT. |

    he removed to Vermont. He was listed on the 1790 VT Census at Pomfret,
    Windsor Co., VT. In 1800 he was of Woodstock, Windsor Co., VT. In 1803-1804 William 
    Perkins and his family moved to Stanstead, 
    Richelieu County, 
    Quebec, Canada. In 1836 he removed to Crown Point, Essex Co., NY where he 
    died. His
