OH 1804-1821. He first purchased land from Ephraim Cutler of Ames,
Washington Co., Ohio 9.24.1802. In 1803, Ames, Ohio became a township in
Athens Co., OH. At this time (1802) he was from Middletown, Butler/Warren
Co., Ohio.
