Capt. Reuben Perkins b.1761 Enfield, Hartford Co., CT.d.1854 Madison Co., NY. His 1st wife ANNA (STEADMAN), his 2nd wife Mrs. DORCUS (SKINNER) HARMON. They were listed on the 1820 & 1830 New York Census at Lenox, Madison Co. (Reuben Perkins founded and lived in the town of Canastota, NY) <See publication.

CALVIN G. PERKINS
Calvin G. Perkins b.1808  d. 1855 Sullivan, Madison Co., NY. Son of (Reuben & Anna (Steadman) Perkins). His wife m.1825 Lenox, Madison Co., NY;  CAROLINE G. (PINNEY). They were listed on the 1830 New York Census at Lenox, Madison Co., NY. His brother Reuben S. Perkins was guardian of his children at his death and part owner of the same farm.

They are both buried at Port Byron, Cayuga Co., NY.

JOSIAH  L. PERKINS
Josiah L. Perkins b.1835 Monroe, Madison Co., NY. Son of (Stillman & Delana (Squire) Perkins). His wife LUCINDA (WILLIAMS) . At the age of 18 he became a teacher and taught school for several years. In 1856 he removed from NY to Rock Island Co., IL for several years. In 1860 he removed to Big Rock, Clinton Co., IA until 1863 when he moved back to Rock Co., IL. In 1874 he removed to Moline, IL and in 1882 settled at Kellerton, Ringgold Co., IA.
