SOLOMON PERKINS
Solomon Perkins b. 10.11.1814 Athol, Warren Co., NY d. 1908 Waukon, Allamakee Co., IA. Son of (Elkanah & Phebe (Unknown) Perkins). His wife HULDAY R. (SMITH). They were listed on the 1850 Census at Athol, Warren Co., NY. In 1866 they removed to Allamakee Co., Iowa. His obituary states that they had a total of 9 children.

Son of (Valentine & Mary (Unknown) Perkins).  His 1st wife: MARIA (Unknown) b.1800 d.1824 NY, 2nd. wife: SUSAN (Unknown) b.1809 d.1845 NY, 3rd wife: AZUBAH (YOUNGLOVE) b.1799 d.1875, dau. of Aaron & Nancy (Conger) Younglove and a sister of Azariah C. Younglove of Vine Valley.  They were listed in 1830 at Gorham, Ontario Co., NY. He and his 1st and 2nd wives are buried at the Little Church Cemetery located in Seneca, Ontario Co., NY. His 3rd wife is buried next to her sister in Naples, Ontario Co., NY. Her grave information also shows up as being buried at the Gorham Cemetery - Gorham, Ontario Co., NY.

His known children w/1st wife were:

Archibald Perkins b.1788 CT . Son of (Amos (7) & Cate/Cote (Staples) Perkins). His 1st wife REBECCA (FULLER), his 2nd wife Mrs. SALLY (Unknown) BAKER.  They were listed on the 1820-1840 Census at Batavia, Genesee Co., NY. In 1850 he was listed at Pembroke, Genesee Co., NY

John Perkins b. ?. He came from Halifax, Nova Scotia to New York, Kings Co., NY and was with the firm of Fillis & Perkins -Auctioneers; General Merchandise. He became an insolvent debtor and was asked to appear before a Judge at Brooklyn, NY in 1819.
