Orleans County Monitor - Barton, Orleans Co., VT - December 16th, 1872

HOLLAND - On the 7th inst., a child three years old, son of MORRILL and EMELINE PERKINS, died from the effects of a scald four weeks previous by sitting down in a pail of hot water.

Orleans County Monitor - Barton, Orleans Co., VT -January 21st, 1878

HIRAM PERKINS, Esq., died at Walden, VT, January 11th in the 70th year of his age. By his death Walden loses one of its most useful and honored citizens. Early in life he was elected to state, county and town offices, where he won the esteem and good will of all by his courtesy, reliability and faithful performance of duties. In March 1857 he was elected town clerk which office he held up to the time of his death. He lived and died on the farm where he was born. His funeral was very largely attended, services conducted by Revs. Burnham and Damon.

PARLEY PERKINS, died the 21st, aged 67 years. He was a good neighbor and kind friend. He leaves a wife and two sons, both grown to manhood.

Mrs. NOAH PERKINS, died Sunday, July 29th, after a long and painful illness. She was buried Monday

Orleans County Monitor - Barton, Orleans Co., VT -October 15th, 1888

Mrs. Perkins, widow of the late PARLEY PERKINS, died on Thursday, the 11th inst., of consumption. She was highly esteemed by her relatives and friends and will be greatly missed.

Orleans County Monitor - Barton, Orleans Co., VT - August 13th, 1900

LOWELL - Mrs. S. B. PERKINS, died Wednesday night after a lingering illness. Her funeral was attended from her late home on the Irasburg road Friday at two o'clock, Rev. Mr. Morse of Newport officiating. Mrs. Perkins had resided here for nearly thirty years.
