Mr. WILLIAM G. PERKINS, died very suddenly at his residence in this village on Saturday evening, after an illness of only 24 hours.

Mr. JOHN Y. PERKINS, died in Start on Sunday morning, of paralysis. He was eighty-one years old in October last. He was a soldier in the war of 1812, and drew a pension.

New Hampshire Locals - Sullivan County - CLAREMONT - Captain A. N. PERKINS, died suddenly, of apoplexy, last Tuesday. He had recently had a severe attack of pneumonia, from which he had scarcely recovered.

JONATHAN PERKINS, who died at Hampton, July 25th, in his 96th year, was a highly respected citizen and a soldier of the war of 1812. His family has been remarkable for longevity. Two brothers and a sister whose deaths preceded his, were all over 90 years of age.

STOCKBRIDGE - AARON PERKINS, who died the 21st ult., was one of the oldest inhabitants, having lived in the town of his adoption for more than half a century, and on the farm where he died, for more than thirty-five years. He was an example of industry and economy, and was thoroughly posted on matters of governmental policy, and the current literature of the day.

SPRINGFIELD - Mrs. Josephine Perkins, relict of the late JOHN PERKINS, died at her residence on Main street, Sunday afternoon, at the advanced age of 87 years.

Mrs. Lovina Perkins, died at her home at Daniel Corliss', March 11th, aged 79 years.

Vermont Journal - Windsor, Windsor Co., VT - April 5th, 1895

NORMAL CAROLAN PERKINS, died March 20th at Grace Hospital, Detroit, from blood poisoning. Mr. Perkins was born in Pomfret, VT, April 17th, 1832, the second in a family of five children. Educated in the district school in his own village, the academy at South Woodstock, in Vermont, and Meriden, in New Hampshire, he graduated with honor from Yale as the class poet in 1857. He went to Chicago, studied law and practiced for a time. In August, 1881, he went to Detroit as editorial writer on the Post and Tribune. In the sprint of 1886 he went to the public library of Detroit, where he as been honored and beloved by a whole city. He leaves a son Thomas W. Perkins and daughter, Mrs. John B. Howarth. Mrs. Perkins died several yeas ago. While in Chicago, Mr. Perkins gave at the third annual banquet of the Sons of Vermont, Jan. 16th, 1880, his "Rhyme of the District School.". A tribute to his mother was summed up in the closing line: "God bless all the mothers of Vermont.".

Vermont Journal - Windsor, Windsor Co., VT - September 3rd, 1898

GRAFTON CO. VT - LEBANON - Mrs. CALISTA A. PERKINS, died at the residence of Mrs. Mary A. Brown, the 24th inst., after an illness of two weeks, the result of shock. Mrs. Perkins was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, Jan. 16th, 1840, coming to Lebanon at the age of 14 years, where she has resided ever since. She was one of eight children, and has three sisters living. Funeral services were held, Friday p.m. at the Methodist church.
