RUTLAND - Mrs. Edwin E. Perkins, died a few days ago, but before burial signs of life were thought to be apparent and the body was subjected to scientific tests to ascertain if death had really taken place. These satisfied the physicians that she was dead, but in order that there might be no harrowing doubt and uncertainly in the future the remains were kept several days. Finally signs of dissolution were visible and the body was consigned at last to the tomb.
