1854: April 14th - The Daily Journal,
Syracuse, NY. Mr. Archibald Perkins died in this city, yesterday. He was 75 years of age, and had lived in this place since 1828. He was a worthy citizen, and universally respected. __________________ 1867: Sept 11th - The Daily Journal, Syracuse, NY. Boston's "oldest inhabitant", a colored
man, named Sandy Perkins, died on Wednesday,
aged 105. He was formerly a North Carolina slave. 1877 - May 21st - Syracuse Morning

1892: Feb. 5th - The Daily Journal,
Syracuse, NY. Mrs. Alethia
Northrop Perkins died at 9:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her
daughter, aged 80/85 years, 4 months and 13 days. She leaves two children,
Mrs. Walter Adams and Mr. Charles Allen Perkins,
both of this city. Mrs. Perkins was the last member of a family of twelve
children born in Dutchess County, where the Northrops from England were
early settlers and possessors of large land grants from the mother
country. She was a cousin in second degree to Ethan Allen of Revolutionary
fame. She married General Johial/Josiah? Perkins
of Litchfield, Conn, who died thirty-five years ago. Mrs. Perkins was a
member of Grace church, and a woman of sterling qualities. 1906: April 16th - The Daily Journal, Syracuse, NY. Mrs. Joel L. Perkins
- (Marcia Brown), wife of Joel L. Perkins,
died at her home in Gray, Herkimer County, on Saturday night. She was the
sister of Spencer Brown of Syracuse, N. Y.

1911: June 27th - The Daily Journal, Syracuse, NY. Mrs. Mary Delia Perkins, 73, wife of the late Jerome S. Perkins, died early this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. Haven, 114 Helen Street. Besides her daughter, she leaves one other daughter, Mrs. C. M. Bacon of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and one son, Anson Perkins of Mexico, N.Y. __________________ 1911: Dec. 18th - The Daily Journal, Syracuse, NY.
Mrs. Hannah Minerva Armstrong, aged 66, died
Saturday at her home at Belle Isle. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs.
Minne A. Bailey and Mrs. Albert E. Perkins,
and one sister, Mrs. Wealthy Buchner. Burial at Belle Isle.
