1950: April-June

April 13th: Mr. Karl Henry Perkins, 45, died Thursday. Son of the late Frederick & Harriet Perkins. He was born at Ogdensburg , May 2nd, 1904. He was never married. Surviving him, his mother, one sister Faunta Belle Perkins of Cleveland, OH. Two brothers, R. Roy Perkins of Utica, NY and Edwin L. Perkins of Syracuse, NY. Two nieces, Harriet Perkins and Lois Perkins of Utica, NY and one nephew Fred Willis Perkins of Utica, NY. He was robbed and beaten in 1946 and never really recovered.

1952: April-June

April 6th:  Miss Harriet Amanda Perkins , 84, widow of Frederick G. Perkins, died April 2nd. Mrs. Perkins was born July 12th, 1867 in Ogdensburg, NY, daughter of Roswell H. Ryan & Harriet Lowrey. Surviving are two sons, Roswell Roy Perkins of Utica, NY and Edwin L. Perkins of Syracuse, NY and one daughter, Miss Faunta Belle Perkins of Ogdensburg , formerly of Cleveland, OH. One grandson, Fred Willis Perkins of Utica, NY and two granddaughters, Mrs. Robert J. Tillman and Mrs. William Rollins of Canton. A son Carl died in 1950.

1953: July-Sept.

Sept. 20th: Miss Faunta Belle Perkins, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Frederick G. Perkins, died on Sept. 9th. Her father was a well known builder here for many years and a real estate operator. She was a retired school teacher in Cleveland, OH. Miss Perkins is survived by two brothers, Roy Perkins and Edwin Perkins. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1909 and Syracuse Univ. in 1913. She obtained her Masters Degree in 1918. She taught school at Watertown H.S. and left in 1918 to teach at Cleveland, OH until she retired in 1950. She was a member of the D.A.R.  in Ogdensburg, NY.

1955: April-June

Miss Fannie Farmer III, keeps up Cookbook.

Harvard, MA: She is Wilma Perkins to her neighbors, but to millions of housewives she is Fanny Farmer. Wife of Professor Dexter Perkins of Cornwall Univ. The professor's mother, Mrs. Cora Dexter (Farmer) Perkins, edited the book until her death in 1929.

1957: April-June

April 14th: Mr. David H. Perkins, 79, died at Lisbon. He was born Feb. 15th, 1876, son of Hiram and Nancy (Quadlin) Perkins of Lisbon. He was married April 3rd, 1901 to Miss Emma Scott. Surviving him, besides his wife, are several nieces and nephews and cousins.

1959: Jan-March

Feb. 11th: Mr. Eli Gordon Perkins, 35, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Floyd Geary. Surviving him are his mother, Mrs. Mabel (Weeks) Perkins of Madrid, a sister, Mrs. Floyd (Winnie) Geary of Lisbon. Two brothers, Howard Perkins of Ogdensburg and Capt. Robert Perkins of Huntsville, AL. A foster sister, Mrs. George (Shirley) Harman of Panama City, FL. Mr. Perkins was born Oct. 23rd, 1923 in the town of Lisbon, a son of Mabel Weeks and the late Eli Perkins. Mr. Perkins never married.

1959: Oct-Dec.

Oct. 4th: Mrs. Evelyn (DeLair) Perkins, 37, died Oct. 1st. Wife of Leonard Perkins of Lisbon. Survived by her husband, and four children; George Perkins aged 17, Michael Perkins age 14, Charlotte Perkins aged 11 and Mary Catherine Perkins age 6. Her parents Mr. & Mrs. George & Anna (Gorrow) DeLair of Baltimore, MD. She was born June 3rd, 1922 and was married to Leonard Perkins on Sept. 30th, 1940.

1961: Jan-March

Feb. 17th: Mrs. Lena (Larock) Perkins, died, wife of Welsey Perkins. Mrs. Perkins was a sister of Mrs. Edward (Nellie) Montroy, and Mrs. John (Jesse) Mastine. Mrs. Perkins was born in Ogdensburg, one of 14 children of John & Matilda (Farrand) Larock. She lived in Rochester, NY for many years. Surviving is her daughter, Mrs. Bert (Margaret) Flacid / Placid ? of Rochester, NY.
