June 14th: Mr. Isaac Perkins,86, died Sunday at the home of his son Julius Perkins. He was born Oct. 15th, 1845 near Montreal Canada and came to Ogdensburg sixty years ago. His wife died two and a half years ago. He is survived by four sons, Charles Perkins of Syracuse, NY, Joseph Perkins and Julius Perkins and Arthur Perkins all of Ogdensburg, NY, Two daughters, Mrs. William Sweeney of Pulaski and Mrs. John Stone of Ogdensburg, NY. Two brothers, William Perkins of Utica, NY and Michael Perkins of Ogdensburg. A sister, Mrs. Hiland Gwinn of Ogdensburg, NY.

Dec. 6th: Mr. Joseph Perkins, 50, died yesterday. He was born in Ogdensburg Aug 2nd, 1881, son of Isaac and Angeline (Savage) Perkins. Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Georgiana (Montroy). Nine children, Joseph Perkins, Mrs. Henry Gauthier, Georgiana Perkins, Irene Perkins, Henry Perkins, Isaac Perkins Jr., Mae Perkins, Adelor Perkins and Lucille Perkins. Three brothers and two sisters, Charles Perkins of Syracuse, NY, Julius Perkins and Arthur Perkins of Ogdensburg, NY. Mrs. William Sweeney of Syracuse, NY and Mrs. John Stone of Ogdensburg, NY. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery.

Dec. 27th: Mr. William Perkins, 78, a former resident of Ogdensburg, from Utica, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bert Daniels. His wife the former, Miss Jennie (Scott) died  June 28th, 1927. Besides his daughter, he leaves three sons, Joseph Perkins of Utica, NY, Henry Perkins of Detroit, MI and Martin Perkins of Ogdensburg, NY. He moved to Utica 15 years ago.

Sept. 26th: Mrs. Mary A. Premo, 62, died Sunday. Mrs. Premo was born in Ogdensburg, daughter of Frank & Mary (Ard) Perkins. Surviving are her husband, a daughter Miss Frances Premo, a sister, Mrs. W. S. Sovie of Everett, Washington, a brother Paul Perkins of Jackson, MI.

July 12th: Mr. Albert W. Gilroy, 83, of Ogdensburg, died. He was married to Lucy Perkins who died four years ago.

Mr. Michael Perkins, died Sunday at his home. He was born in St. Andrews, Canada. Surviving are his widow, six children. Martin Perkins, Michael Perkins Jr. , Edward Perkins and John Perkins, Mrs. Edgar Sholette, Mrs. Francis Baker all of Ogdensburg, and a sister, Mrs. Hiland Gwinn also of Ogdensburg.

Dec. 11th: Mr. John W. Perkins, 69, died. He was born in Lisbon Nov 11th, 1945, son of Hiram & Nancy Perkins. Surviving, his wife the former, Miss Lulu (Collins). Four brothers, David Perkins and Eli Perkins of Lisbon, Frederick Perkins and Herbert Perkins of Ogdensburg. Two sisters, Mrs. A. O. Wood of Ogdensburg and Mrs. George Melhuish of New York.

Dec. 13th: Funeral Services were held yesterday for Mr. John W. Perkins. Burial at the Ogdensburg Cemetery.

Feb. 1st: The Will of John W. Perkins of Ogdensburg was probated. The estate consisted of real estate in Ogdensburg and Lake Worth, FL. All was left to his widow who is now seriously ill.

March 10th: Mrs. Lulu Perkins, 57, died. Widow of John W. Perkins. She was born Aug. 28th, 1878 in Depeyster, daughter of Horace & Louise (Dings) Boothroyd. She was married to John W. Perkins in 1918. He died December 10th, 1934. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. George Thayer of Lisbon.

March 11th: Mrs. Ida Perkins, of Syracuse died. Her sister, Mrs. Frank Petrie and her cousin Etta Rice from Renassealer Falls attended the funeral.

She was born in Prescott, Sept. 12th 1860, daughter of Thomas & Johanna McGuire. Surviving are four sons and two daughters, Martin Perkins, Michael Perkins, Edward Perkins and John Perkins. Mrs. Edward Sholette and Mrs. Francis Baker. Four sisters, Mrs. E. C. Germaine, Mrs. Lou Vanette of Buffalo, NY,  Mrs. Katherine McLear, Mrs. Helen Gillispie of Ogdensburg, NY.

Feb. 14th: Mr. Osborn Perkins, 47, of Syracuse, died. Son of James Perkins of Syracuse, NY. Surviving are his parents, his wife, and one son, James Perkins.

April 14th: A Change of name was granted to Arthur Paquin of Ogdensburg, who will be hence-forth be known as Henry Perkins. The inability of persons to pronounce his name led him to ask to have it changed, he told the court.

Aug. 29th: Mr. Herbert Perkins, 74, died. Son of Hiram & Nancy Perkins of Lisbon. His wife, formerly Miss Ida Mack, who died 10 years ago. Surviving him are his brothers, Fredrick G. Perkins, David (Daniel ?) Perkins and Eli Perkins of Ogdensburg. His sisters, Mrs. Hattie Melhuish of New York City and Mrs. A. O. Wood of Ogdensburg.

Aug. 31st: Mr. Herbert Perkins died Saturday night, brother of David Perkins, Carl Perkins and Howard Perkins.

April 23rd: Mr. Joseph Henry Perkins, 16, died. He was born March 24th, 1922, son of Arthur & Marion (Vermette) Perkins who came from Montreal. Surviving him one brother, John Perkins. Five sisters, Theresa Perkins, Madeline Perkins, Clara Perkins, Solenges Perkins and Constance Perkins.

June 30th: Miss Bernice Irene Townsend of Morley, NY was married June 29th, 1938 to Mr. Donald Edward Perkins. Mrs. Perkins is the daughter of Vernon & Iona (Place) Townsend. Mr. Perkins is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Perkins of Madrid.

Nov. 30th: Mr. Fredrick G. Perkins, 70, died. He was born Feb. 11th, 1868 at Lisbon. Son of Horace (Hiram) & Nancy Perkins. Surviving besides his wife, the former Miss Harriet (Ryan), are three sons,  Roy Perkins of Utica, NY, Edwin Perkins of Syracuse, NY and Carl Perkins of Ogdensburg, NY. One daughter, Miss Faunta Belle Perkins of Cleveland, OH. Two brothers, Daniel (David ?) Perkins and Eli Perkins of Ogdensburg, and two sisters, Mrs. A. O. Woods of Ogdensburg and Mrs. George Melhinch of New York City.

Mrs. Fredrick G. Perkins was named executrix along with John J. Livingston as attorney. She is the sole beneficiary in the will of her late husband. The estate reported to be in excess of $20,000. Mr. Perkins had extensive real estate holdings in Ogdensburg. Present at the reading were her three sons, Roy Perkins, Edwin Perkins and Carl Perkins and her daughter, Faunta Belle Perkins of Cleveland, OH.

Mr. Frederick G. Perkins died Tuesday morning. Mrs. George Melhuish has returned to her home called by the death of her brother. She spent the week visiting her sister Mrs. A. O. Wood and her brother David Perkins.

Mr. R. Roy Perkins, son of Mrs. Frederick G. Perkins, is head of the science department of Utica Free Academy. Mr. Perkins married a Detroit girl, Miss Dale Custer Hall. The couple has three children, Fred Willis Perkins age 13, Lois Custer Perkins age 11, and Harriet Hall Perkins age 8.
