Mr. Charles W. Schwab b. Feb. 18, 1862 and Mr. George W. Perkins b. Jan 31st, 1862, son of an insurance agent in Chicago, IL. One of the prime elements of success of the J. Pierpont Morgan Company, head of the U.S. Steel Corp. George W. Perkins & Charles W. Schwab, the former looks after Wall street interests, the great-financer, the later until recently managed the affairs of the Corp. Controlling 8/10th of the Steel output of this country. Mr. Perkins received an offer from Mr. Morgan to get out of the insurance business. It is said that Mr. Morgan paid Mr. Perkins three times his salary, at that he normally made $12,000 a year at.

Mr. John A. Brassard, 52, died. He was born at Dickenson Landing, Oct. 11th, 1852. Coming to Ogdensburg about age 16. He married Miss Mary A. Perkins in 1882 who survives him.

Feb. 14th: Mrs. Imogene S. Ralph of Canton, NY, wife of Murray N. Ralph, died yesterday. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Fannie Ralph. Her mother Mrs. Ellen E. Perkins and one brother, Charles Perkins. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Nancy Perkins died at her home on the Pray road Sunday night. She was aged 75 years and is survived by six sons and four daughters; William Perkins, Herbert Perkins, John Perkins, David Perkins, Frederick Perkins and Eli Perkins, all of this city; Mrs. George Melbuish of Bridgeport, CT, Mrs. George Groub, Alexandera Bay, NY, Mrs. A. W. Gilroy and Mrs. A. O. Wood of this city. A brother, Elljah Quadlin of this city and a sister, Mrs. Esther Dawson of Heuvelton, NY also survive her.

Feb. 17th: Mrs. Ellen Perkins, 87, died at the home of her son, Charles J. Perkins last Wednesday. Mrs. Perkins maiden name was Ellen Murray. She was born at Carthage June 1823. She was married to the late Francis J. Perkins in Watertown, NY which was the home of the latter about the year 1844. Soon after their marriage they came to Canton, NY. Mr. Perkins died some 20 years ago. Two children were born, Mrs. Murray N. Ralph of Canton, NY who died a few years ago. Charles J. Perkins.

Judge Theodore Hiram Swift,63, died, Monday. He married in 1871 to Miss Mary Perkins of Parishville, NY. Two sons were born to them, John H. Swift, deceased and Hiram Swift of Potsdam, NY.

Feb. 26th: Mr. J. Azro Perkins of Parishville, NY, died. Since the death of his wife last fall, Mr. Perkins immediate family has consisted of his widowed daughter, Mrs. Alice Willis, and her daughter Blanche. Mr. Perkins also left a brother, Ralph Perkins who resided with him, and a sister the widow of the late Judge Theodore Swift who is now in the South.

Aug. 26th: Mr. Edson M. Perkins, 68, died Aug. 24th. Born in Parishville, NY. He moved to Potsdam 15 years ago. He was president of the Citizens National Bank. Mr. Perkins was married Jan 24th, 1866 to Miss Emogene S. Tichenor of Parishville, NY. Her death occurred in 1877. On June 20th, 1880, he married Miss Martha A. Long of Parishville. She survives him together with one son, Francis L. Perkins.

Nov. 14th: Private Lawrence E. Perkins, died in France Nov. 11th from wounds received in action. He was the son of Almon Perkins. Private Perkins was just 21 years of age. He was born at Child World, but had lived here nearly all of his life. Surviving him are his parents, one brother, Howard Perkins, one sister Gladys Perkins of Buffalo, NY.
