Feb: Mr. George L. Perkins, Norwich, CT, still works at his office as the treasurer of the Norwich & Worcester branch of the New England Rail Road, an office he has held for 51 years. He was born in Norwich, CT Aug. 5th, 1788 and lacks but 7 months until his 100th Birthday. He served in defence against the British 75 years ago. He has been married 67 years to a lady who is still living.
