1901: June- Sept. July 18th: Mr.
Edwin Gaylord, 81, died July 7th. He was born at Cold Brook, CT. He moved
to Turin, NY when 5 years of age. At the age of 35 he married Miss Lydia
Ann Norton, of this union, seven children were born. Mrs. Alfred Perkins
of Nebraska, William Gaylord of Hounsville, NY, Harvey N. Gaylord of
Turin, NY , Charles Gaylord and Herbert Gaylord and Frank Gaylord of
Greig, NY, and Mrs. Ansel Hills of Lyons Falls, NY. 1902: Jan.- March March 27th: Mrs. Hopkins is visiting her
daughter, Mrs. Frank Perkins of Old Forge, NY. 1903: April- June. April 30th: Mr. T. Gereau and Miss Ella
Shaver of Old Forge, were united in marriage on April 22nd. A reception
was given by the brides parents, Mr. & Mrs. J. Perkins. 1903: July- Sept. July 16th: Mrs. Lena Perkins and children of
Dispatch, NY are spending Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Myrtle Perkins. 1906: Jan-March Jan. 4th:
Prof. Wilson N. Perkins and Miss
Anna Mabel Coulter, were married at the home of the brides parents, Mr. &
Mrs. John Coulter of East Boston. The ceremony was preformed by the
Rev.
J. O. Perkins, Phd., father of the groom. 1906: Jan. 25th Jan. 25th:
Mr. James H. Perkins of Rome, NY,
died. His wife the former Miss Catherine Frank, survives him. One son and
one daughter also survive him, William Perkins and Mrs. G. E. Rudy of
Rome, NY. 1906: Jan-March Feb. 22nd: Mrs. G. A. Perkins and her
sister, Mrs. Abram C. Miller, entertained their brother, Frank Case who
arrived unexpectedly from Mt. Vernon on Monday. 1906: Jan-March March 22nd:

Aug. 17th:
Mrs. Sarah C. Greeley, died. Widow of William H. Greeley. She was a
daughter of David Scofield. She was born in this village Sept. 1841. Mr.
William Greeley died March 1908. Three children were born to them, a son,
Harry Greeley who died when a child, Mary Greeley, wife of Frank Bowman
and Florance Greeley, wife of Frank W. McGovern. Besides the daughters
above named, there also survives one sister,

Mr. Herbert
Gaylord, 50, died. He was married to Miss Cora McCormick twenty-six years
ago, she survives him and seven sons, Ray Gaylord, Sidney Gaylord, Earl
Gaylord, Cecil Gaylord, Herschel Gaylord, Kenneth Gaylord and Lansing
Gaylord. Two sisters, Mrs. Ansel Hills and
Mrs. Alfred Perkins of Sunset,
Colorado. 1912: Jan - March Mr. & Mrs. Morris L. Homan have
left their home in this place to spend the winter with their
grand-daughter, Mrs. C. H. Woodcock at South Corinth, NY. Mrs. Woodcock
was formerly Miss Grace Perkins, who lived here when a child. 1912: Oct- Dec. Dec. 19th: Mr. Roland Evans,
69, died, of Blue Sprints, Neb, brother of Griffith Evans of Lowville, NY,
died December 10th. He was born in Turin , NY and went west to Nebraska 35
years ago. He left a wife and two children, Jay Evans and Laura Evans. His
wife was a daughter of
Mr. Allen Perkins formerly of Greig, NY. 1913: April-June Mrs. Joseph Perkins
funeral was held on Saturday. 1914: Jan-March Feb. 11th:
Mr. Lester Earl
Perkins, 22, died on Jan. 26th. He was the eldest son of
Meade and Alice (Braman)
Perkins. He is survived by his parents and one brother and a large circle
of friends. 1914: April-June
April 2nd:
Mr. Charles Edwin Gaylord, 53, died. Born in the town of Turin, NY,
son of Edwin and Lydia Ann (Knowlton) Gaylord. Mr. Gaylord never married.
He resided with is parents until their death and then with his brother,
Frank Gaylord. There remains to mourn his loss, two sisters,
Mrs. Alfred
Perkins of Sunset, Colorado and Mrs. Amelia Hills of this place. Two
brothers, William Gaylord and Harvey Gaylord.

Mrs. Levi Perkins
of East Rochester has been visiting her Uncle, Mr. Calvin Beals this past
week. She made the trip by auto with
Meade Perkins & family. 1915: July-Sept. Sept. 18th:
Mrs. Charles H.
Perkins, 76, died. Formerly of Boonville, NY, at her home in Santa Ana,
Calf. Her maiden name was Eliza C. Jackson. Besides her husband, two sons
survive her, Mr. Albert Perkins of Santa Ana, Calf and
George Perkins of
Newark, N.J. 1918: Jan-March Mrs. R. McNut was called to
Carthage by the serious illness of her father,
J. Perkins. 1918: April 18th April 18th:
Mr. Morris
Homan, died. He was born in Western Oneida Co., NY in May 1839. He married
Sarah Satterley who survives him. Three children were born to them, two
who are living, Mrs. Merrill White of Boonville, NY and Ervln Homan of
Syracuse, NY. A daughter,
Mrs. Joseph Perkins died several years ago.
He (Morris Homan)
is also survived by his sister, Mrs. Mary Mason and a brother Almond

Mr. William
Gaylord, died. He was born April 30th, 1848 at Turin, NY, son of Edwin and
Lydia Ann Gaylord. He married Dec. 1868, Miss Harriet Brown. Besides his
widow, he is survived by five children, Mrs. Charles Edwards, Mrs. George
Skinner, Mrs. Dennis Buckley and Miss Edith Gaylord, one brother, Harvey
Gaylord and two sisters, Mrs. Ameila Hills and
Mrs. Anna Perkins of

Mr. John Perkins,
aged 87, died at his home on the Copenhagen road, five miles from
Carthage, last Thursday. 1940: Nov. 28th
Mr. Enos F. Perkins
died at the home of his son-in-law, John Ryther, in Harrisburg, Saturday.
