Mr. Prescott D. Perkins, son of D. C. Perkins formerly a resident of Rome, N.Y., but for the past several years living at Little Falls, NY, graduated the Falls Academy this summer.

Mr. Prescott D. Perkins and his little sister, are visiting their uncle William H. Greeley.

Feb 2nd: Mr. David Scofield, died. He was born at Hadley, Saratoga Co., NY in 1805. He was married in 1829 to Miss Charlotte Webb and about 55 years ago they came to Lowville, NY. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. W. H. Greeley and Mrs. D. C. Perkins of Little Falls, NY, and two sons.

June 17th: Miss Isabelle Perkins of Boston, MA, heiress to $17,000,000, on Thursday, became the wife of Mr. Lare Anderson, a member of the United States Diplomatic Corps at Rome, Italy. The bride is the daughter of Captain George Hamilton Perkins, U.S.N. (retired) and a grand-daughter of the late William F. Weld of Boston, who's millions she inherits, together with her cousin Mrs. Charles F. Sprague of Mass. The groom is from a well known Washington family, son of General Nicholas Anderson who died a few years ago.

Mr. Allen Perkins, died. On Friday morning last, this community was startled by the sudden death of Mr. Allen Perkins, although his health had been poor for several years, Mr. Perkins walked from his home to the village, a distance of two miles and back the day before his death. Over 50 years ago he married Amanda Brown, and settled in Greig, NY, where they always made their home. The widow and seven children survive. Mrs. Avery Emerson, and five sons; Meade Perkins, Earnest Perkins and Levi Perkins of Greig, NY,  Alfred Perkins of Colorado and Dwight Perkins of Nebraska. Mr. Perkins served in the last war and for several years belonged to the Masonic Order in Turin, NY.

Mrs. Eliza D. Perkins,78, died,  wife of Rev. Edgar Perkins, formerly of Copenhagen, NY, died on the 16th last at Wolcott. Mr. Perkins is aged 88.

Mr. Erastus G. Perkins, died, at the residence of William R. Agens. He was aged 73 years , 6 months. The deceased was a bachelor and had no near relatives in these parts. He formerly resided in Adams Center, NY. Remains were taken to Adams Center and services were held in the Baptist Church there.

Mrs. W. H. Greeley of this place attended the funeral at Little Falls, NY, of her nephew, Rev. Prescott D. Perkins who's death occurred in Syracuse, NY on Friday. Mr. Perkins had been the Pastor of the Methodist Church at Morrisville about a year. Mr. Perkins was aged 30 years old. His wife and son survive him.

Mrs. Lydia Perkins,82, died at the home of her grand-daughter, Mrs. Hattie Jaquith in this village on Monday last. The deceased passed a long and useful life in this place and immediate vicinity, and was respected and honored by all. Funeral services were held from the Congregational Church.
