Nahum Perkins, an old and respected citizen, aged about 88 years, died at his residence near this place on Monday last. He had for a long while been an invalid, suffering from the infirmities of old age. Mrs. Susan Perkins, a relative of Mr. Perkins and a lady of advanced years, though not as old as Mr. Perkins, died from grip last Saturday. She made it her home in Mr. Perkins family for many years. Mrs. Nahum Perkins is very sick with the grip, and doubts are entertained as to her recovery. Truly this is a stricken household.
