1892: Jan. 29th - The Otsego Farmer -
Cooperstown, NY. Nahum Perkins, an old and respected citizen, aged about 88 years, died at his residence near this place on Monday last. He had for a long while been an invalid, suffering from the infirmities of old age. Mrs. Susan Perkins, a relative of Mr. Perkins and a lady of advanced years, though not as old as Mr. Perkins, died from grip last Saturday. She made it her home in Mr. Perkins family for many years.
