SAMUEL H. PERKINS

Samuel Huntington Perkins b. 2.15.1797 Windham, CT d.1874 PA. Son of (Samuel & Anna or Nancy (Huntington) Perkins, son of Matthew & Hannah (Bishop) Perkins, a son of Joseph & Martha (Morgan) Perkins, a son of Jacob & Unknown wife *either Elizabeth (Unknown) or Demaris (Robinson) Perkins, a son of John Perkins, Sr. of Ipswich, MA).  His 1st wife; CHARLOTTE ELDERKIN CLARKE, his 2nd wife MARY (FEARISS\FEARIES) DONNELL., his 3rd wife MARGARET (Unknown) SAVAGE. They were listed on the 1830 PA Census at Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA. In 1840 at Walnut Ward, Philadelphia Co., PA.

His known child w/1st. wife:

ELIJAH PERKINS, Dr.
Elijah Perkins, Dr. b. 1767 CT d.1806 PA. Son of (Joseph(5) & Joanna (Burnham) Perkins)-Joseph(4), Joseph(3), Jacob(2), John Sr.(1) of Ipswich, MA]. His wife SUSAN STEPHENSON. (He was a cousin of Dr. Elisha Perkins who invented the "Tractors").

A known child was:

1. William Washington Perkins b. 1805 or 1809* PA              <*Paternity has been questioned due to conflicting dates of birth -{I have been told that In 1822 - His mother's will stated that he was under the
                                                                                                                        age of 15}{Anyone reading this statement will have to find proof of this. I have not done the research myself.][A Y-DNA test against this linage will either

William Washington Perkins b. 1805 or 1809 PA. *Baptized the Son of ( Dr. Elijah(6) & Susan (Stephenson) Perkins -[Joseph(5), Joseph(4), Joseph(3), Jacob(2), John Sr.(1). of Ipswich, MA] . His wife LUCY (WALBRIDGE). They were listed on the 1830 & 1840 PA Census at Meadville Borough, Crawford Co., PA. He was a Newspaper editor and also ran a hotel in Meadville, PA.

Their known children were:

1. William Elijah Perkins b.1831 m. Annie Rosenberg
2. George Walbridge Perkins b.1831 Erie, PA d.1886 Cleveland, OH m. 1st Sarah Louisa Mills; 2nd. Emily Swan   *Also Resided in Buffalo, NY, Grand Rapids, MI and Chicago, IL
3. Charles Clarkson Perkins b.1835 d.1859 unmarried
4. David Walbridge Perkins b.1840 d.1864 IL or MI m. Allie P. Raynor  , she m. 2nd; 1867 Mr. Field  *Removed to Jackson, MI
and Chicago, IL

DANIEL PERKINS
Daniel Perkins b. 1769 Ireland d.7.20.1830 Meadville Borough, Crawford Co., PA. His wife SARAH "SALLY" (WILSON). They were married in Lancaster Co., PA on 11.19.1793 and were listed on the 1810-1830 Census at Meadville Borough, Crawford Co., PA. According to his Will, he lived at the corner of 2nd & Chestnut Street, Meadville Borough, Crawford Co., PA.

Their known children were:

JOSEPH L. PERKIN
Joseph L. Perkin b.1807 Frederick Co., MD  d. 9.6.1873 Crawford Co., PA.. Son of (Henery & Unknown (Unknown) Perkin).  He came with his parents to Venango, Crawford Co., PA in 1817. His wife ANN (Unknown). They were listed on the 1830 & 1840 Census at Hayfield, Crawford Co., PA. In 1850 they were listed at Venango, Crawford Co., PA. He was the first postmaster of Venango borough and justice of the peace for 25 years.

Their known children were:
