MD d. 9.6.1873 Crawford Co., PA.. Son of (Henery
& Unknown (Unknown) Perkin). He came with his parents to Venango,
Crawford Co., PA in 1817. His wife ANN
(Unknown). They were listed
on the 1830 & 1840 Census at Hayfield, Crawford Co., PA. In 1850 they
were listed at Venango, Crawford Co., PA. He was the first
postmaster of Venango borough and justice of the peace for 25 years.
