William Perkins).
His wife LAVINA
C. (MURRAY). He was known to have been born
to a "William Perkins" at Wayne Co., NY. There was only one man named
"William Perkins" on the 1830 Wayne Co., NY Census. They were listed on the
1855-1865 at Greece, Monroe Co., NY Census. In 1870 they were listed at Corn
planter, Venango Co., PA. His birth location changes to the state of
Michigan. Michigan is where William Perkins ended up living. By 1875-1900
they are back at Greece, Monroe Co., NY. His fathers and mothers birth
location is listed as "Vermont".

Source: In 1903 Lavina C. Perkins was appointed only $25 for 8.574 acres of
land that was appropriated by the State of New York for the improvement of
the canals. - Proceedings by the New York (State) Canal Board for the year
1919 - (1919) also see "Fifteenth Annual Report of the Court of Claims of
the State of New York - (1916) gives details as to the impact the land
appropriation had on Lavina C. Perkins. |

Silas Perkins b. ca.1764 CT. He was listed
on the 1825 Census at Martinsburg, Lewis Co., NY. He came to Lewis County NY
after 1820 from Windham, CT. He was present at the Commemoration Celebration
- The National Semi-Centennial Celebration on July 4th, 1826 at Lowville,
Lewis Co., NY. He is not listed on the 1830 Census.
