GEORGE C. PERKINS
George Clark Perkins b.1854 d.1918. Son of (Clark & Lydia (Hoaxton -DeVoe) Perkins). His wife SARAH (PERKINS) b.1861   d.9/4/1920, (daughter of Edwin b.1821 d.1997 &  Sophrona (Babcock) Perkins) . This couple resided in Munnsville, Madison Co., NY. Sarah (Perkins) Perkins had a brother named James Perkins.

Known children were:

1. Sherman Perkins b.?  m. Eleanor (Murphy)
2. Imogene Perkins b. ? m. Benjamin Howe

Asahel B. Perkins b.1795 NH . His wife SUSAN C. (JACKSON) b.1810 Clinton Co., NY.  They were listed on the 1830 Census at Arcadia, Wayne Co., NY. They were listed on the 1850 Census at Gaines, Orleans Co., NY. In 1855 they removed to Royalton, Niagara Co., NY.

Their known children were:

1. Ashael Leroy Perkins b.1825 d.4.30.1848 at Buffalo, Erie Co., NY
2. Henry E. Perkins b. 1833 NY
3. Minerva J. Perkins b.1836 NY
4. Mary S. Perkins b.1841 NY

Linas \ Linus Perkins b. ca.1808 PA/NY ?. His wife *SAMANTHA (SMITH). They were listed on the 1840 & 1850 Census at Johnsburgh, Warren Co., NY. By 1860 they removed to Ulysses, Potter Co., PA and in 1870 at Hebron, Potter Co., PA

Their known children were:

1. Christina Perkins b.3.5.1831 NY m. Martin Cleveland
2. Arden Perkins b.1835 NY m. Melissa E. (Hallock)
3. Russell Perkins b.1836 NY m. Hester (Johnson)

*1870 Hebron, Potter Co., PA living next door to Linus & Samantha Perkins

*I have also found reference that the name of his wife was SAMANTHA (PHELPS). The genealogy source book I have listed below has her name as SAMANTHA (SMITH). Samantha (Smith) and Samantha (Phelps) may be two different wives.
