Milwaukee, WI: Dr. James S. Perkins, a well known Dentist in Milwaukee, WI Shoots himself. It seems a large party was given Tuesday evening at the residence of Dr. Perkins, and he and his wife had retired quite late. He said to Mrs. Perkins "Good-bye" wife, and may god bless you. She told him "good-night" never dreaming that the farewell meant anything. She went to sleep and was awakened in a half hour by a pistol shot, which her husband had fired, the ball blowing out his brains. No motive for the suicide can be assigned. He was thirty-six years of age (b. 1850), and had a large practice.
