1854: April 14th - The Daily Journal, Syracuse, NY.

Mr. Archibald Perkins died in this city, yesterday. He was 75 years of age, and had lived in this place since 1828. He was a worthy citizen, and universally respected.

1867: Sept 11th - The Daily Journal, Syracuse, NY.

Boston's "oldest inhabitant", a colored man, named Sandy Perkins, died on Wednesday, aged 105. He was formerly a North Carolina slave.

1877 - May 21st - Syracuse Morning Standard, Syracuse, NY.

The people of the state of New York
, to Lewis Perkins, Roxy Bullard, Lucy Holbrook, Levi Perkins, Lyman Perkins, William Perkins, Freelove Darling, Susan Darling and Patty Manson, severally of Masonville, Province of Quebec, Canada: Peter Perkins of Swart's Creek, Genesee county, Michigan; Lyman Perkins of Carlton, Kewaunee county, Wisconsin; Anna Howker, of Sweatsburg, Province of Quebec, Canada, and to the heirs at law and next of kin of Rena Wood, a deceased sister of Anna Woodward, deceased, wholly several names, ages and places of residence are wholly unknown, and cannot after diligent inquiry for that purpose be ascertained, heirs at law and next of kin of Anna Woodward, late of the town of Clay, in the county of Onondaga, New York, deceased, greetings. Whereas Martha Knapp and Robert Knapp, the Executors named in a certain instrument in writing, purporting to be the last will and testament of Anna Woodard, late of the town of Clay, in the county of Onondaga, and state of New York, deceased, have this day made application to the Surrogate of the county of Onondaga, to have said instrument in writing proved and recorded as the will of real and personal estate. You are therefore hereby cited to appear before the said Surrogate, at his office in the city of Syracuse, in the said county of Onondaga, New York, on the 7th day of July, 1877, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to attend the probate of said will. Given under the hand and seal of office of said Surrogate, at the city of Syracuse, in said [L.S. [county of Onondaga, this 19th day of May, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven. Cyrus Sweet, Surrogate.

  1892: Feb. 5th - The Daily Journal, Syracuse, NY.

Mrs. Alethia Northrop Perkins died at 9:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, aged 80/85 years, 4 months and 13 days. She leaves two children, Mrs. Walter Adams and Mr. Charles Allen Perkins, both of this city. Mrs. Perkins was the last member of a family of twelve children born in Dutchess County, where the Northrops from England were early settlers and possessors of large land grants from the mother country. She was a cousin in second degree to Ethan Allen of Revolutionary fame. She married General Johial/Josiah? Perkins of Litchfield, Conn, who died thirty-five years ago. Mrs. Perkins was a member of Grace church, and a woman of sterling qualities.

Mrs. Joel L. Perkins - (Marcia Brown), wife of Joel L. Perkins, died at her home in Gray, Herkimer County, on Saturday night. She was the sister of Spencer Brown of Syracuse, N. Y.

1911: June 27th - The Daily Journal, Syracuse, NY.

Mrs. Mary Delia Perkins, 73, wife of the late Jerome S. Perkins, died early this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. Haven, 114 Helen Street. Besides her daughter, she leaves one other daughter, Mrs. C. M. Bacon of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and one son, Anson Perkins of Mexico, N.Y.

1911: Dec. 18th - The Daily Journal, Syracuse, NY.

Mrs. Hannah Minerva Armstrong, aged 66, died Saturday at her home at Belle Isle. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Minne A. Bailey and Mrs. Albert E. Perkins, and one sister, Mrs. Wealthy Buchner. Burial at Belle Isle.
