    003 North-002 West, Section 33, W1/2 NE 1/4 in Ingham Co., MI. On 8/10/1839 
    he purchased land in Township\Range 008 South-002 West, Section 11, NE 1/4 
    in Hillsdale Co., MI. He is listed on the 1840 Census at Dover, Lenawee Co., 
    MI and on the 1850 Census at Hillsdale, Genesee Co.,  MI. In 1860 he is 
    listed on the census at Ransom, Hillsdale Co., MI

        Hillsdale Co., MI. He was known to have resided at Rowland, Hillsdale 
        Co., MI in 1847/1848. His house was auctioned off on Jan. 17th, 1848. 
        The Administrator of his estate was listed as 
        Stephen Perkins , who I believe to be the Stephen Perkins residing 
        at Dover, Lenawee Co., MI (Above). 
        This would not be Stephen Perkins son Samuel C. Perkins b.1823, more 
        than likely a brother or a cousin. 
 ADMINISTRATION SALE
 
 By an order of the Judge of Probate of the county of Lenawee, I shall 
        offer for sale at public auction the east half of the south east quarter 
        of section No. one in township No. eight south range No. two west, in 
        the township of Rowland, in the county of Hillsdale, and State of 
        Michigan, at the house of Samuel C. Perkins, in the said township of 
        Rowland, and County of Hillsdale, on the fifth day of March next, at one 
        o'clock in the afternoon, and one fourth of the purchase money will be 
        required down, and the remainder in two annual payments with annual 
        interest.
