HARFORD J. PERKINS
Harford Joseph Perkins b.8.26.1819 Newark, Tioga Co.., NY d.12.20.1892 Kent Co., Michigan. Son of (Richard & Sybil (Dean) Perkins).  His wife m.1848; HARRIET (PARSONS). They were listed on the 1850 Census at Owego, Tioga Co., NY. On the 1860 Census at Cogan, Lycoming Co., PA. In 1870 at Williamsport, Lycoming Co., PA. Sometime before 1880, they removed to Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI where he died in 1892. He was the founder of the Perkins Machine Company - Grand Rapids - Michigan.

Their known children were:

1. Edson D. Perkins b.1850 NY d.? Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI
2. Charles Eugene Perkins b.1851 Otsego Co., NY d.1935 MI m. Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Robinson)
3. Willis J. Perkins b.1853 PA d.1937 FL m. Shirley (Haughawont)
4. Sybil "Sibble" O. Perkins b.1855 PA
5. Harold "Harry" J. Perkins b.1869 PA d.1953 FL m. Priscilla J. (Gee)
6. Frederick L. Perkins b.1872 PA d.1937 MI m. Edith F. (Hawkins)
(Possibly Son or Grand-Son?) Chauncey Perkins born and died before 1850, or born after 1880
