JOHN PERKINS / PURKINS

John Perkins / Purkins b.1822 PA. His wife CATHERINE (MOYER/MOYERS/MYERS/MEYER) b.1823 PA d.1912 Worthington, Armstrong Co., PA , daughter of Mathias & Elizabeth (Richey) Myers \ Moyer \ Moyers \ Meyer. They were listed on the 1840 at Hopewell, Bedford Co., PA, living next to his father-in-law Matthias Myers. They were then listed on the 1850 PA Census at Wheatfield, Indiana Co., PA. In 1860 the family was of Clearfield, Butler Co., PA and in 1870 at Big Beaver, Lawrence Co., PA. By 1880 they settled at Humboldt, Humboldt Co., IA
