CALEB PERKINS SR.
(Dr.) Caleb Perkins Sr. b.1749 Hartford, CT d.1818 Meadville, Crawford Co., PA. (A Doctor of Medicine)  Son of (Joseph(4) &  Mary (Bushnell) Perkins [Joseph(3),Jabob(2), John(1) of Ipswich, MA]). His wife SARAH (TRUMBULL). They were from Otis, Berkshire Co., MA. In 1815 he had purchased 320 acres of land at Nelson, Portage Co., Ohio which was later sold by his son Caleb Perkins Jr. in 1823. He removed to Mead, Crawford Co., PA

JOHN T. PERKINS
John Trumbull Perkins b. 1776 CT . Son of (Caleb & Sarah (Trumbull) Perkins). His 1st wife SOPHIA/CATHERINE (WILLARD), his 2nd wife HANNAH (HURLBURT). He lived in Brattleboro, Windham Co., VT as early as 1811. I do find a 1813 Deed in Guildhall, Essex Co., VT where a John T. Perkins was a witness to a land sale. It is mentioned that in 1812 John T. Perkins removed to Charleston, S.C. where he was supposed to have died of Yellow Fever and was never heard from again leaving a wife and 4 (5?) children. I find a 1817 Deed from Wayne Co., Georgia where a John T. Perkins was a witness to a deed related to estate land situated at Sautee-Charleston District - South Carolina and that this property is now in the state of Georgia. I find a 9.7.1818 entry in the Wayne Co., Georgia Court Minutes book where the court is appointing a few men assist with the estate of John T. Perkins, and ordered William A Knight to make a sale, according to law, of the perishable property of John T. Perkins (deceased). His total estate amounted to $213.87  1/2. $37.00 was deducted leaving a balance of $176.87 1/2. It is stated that he owned 300 acres of Pine Land on the Stage Road. *More research is needed to prove or disprove that this was the same John T. Perkins.

SAMUEL E. PERKINS
(Judge) Samuel Elliott Perkins b. 12.6.1811 Brattleboro, Windham Co., VT d. 1879 IN. Son of (John T. & Catherine (Willard) Perkins). His 1st wife, AMANDA JULIET (PYLE), his 2nd wife, (sister of his first wife) LAVINIA (PYLE) WIGGINS. He removed from Windham Co., VT to Conway, MA. Then to Penn Yan, Yates Co., NY and settled in Indianapolis, Wayne Co., Indiana.

CALEB PERKINS Jr.
Caleb Perkins Jr. b.12.28.1781 CT d.12.29.1854 PA.  Son of (Caleb & Sarah (Trumbell) Perkins). His wife HANNAH (COOK) b.6.11.1782 ? d.11.20.1858 PA. They were listed on the 1820 Census at Meadville, Crawford Co., PA. On the 1830-1840 PA Census at Woodcock, Crawford Co., PA. In 1823, he and his wife Eunice sold 320 acres of land for $ 1,823.00 at Nelson, Portage Co., Ohio to John Hendee, it being the same tract of land that Ephraim & Eunice Root of Hartford, CT sold to Caleb Perkins Sr. dated 4.5.1815 of the town of Otis, Berkshire Co., MA and late of Crawford Co., Pennsylvania (deceased) and who by his last will and testament did give and bequeath the same tract of lands to the said Caleb Perkins Jr. his son & to Joseph T. or J. Cummings of Crawford Co., PA and to their heirs. Joseph T or J Cummings signed the quit claim and was also paid $320.00 by John Hendee for his share of the land.

LYMAN PERKINS
Lyman Perkins b.1811 New Salem, MA. Son of (Caleb & Hannah (Cook) Perkins). His wife MERCY LUPER/LUPFER (WILLIAMS). They were listed on the 1840-1850 PA Census at Woodcock, Crawford Co., PA.

Their known children were:

THOMAS B. PERKINS
Thomas B. Perkins b.?  d.1847 Lower St. Clair, Allegheny Co., PA. His wife DOROTHY (UNKNOWN). It was *probably* he who was listed on the 1830 Census at Lebanon, Wayne Co., PA. They were known to have lived at Lower St. Clair, Allegheny Co., PA in 1847 when he died. I find court documents that his widow Dorothy Perkins is in agreement to sell off the land they purchased in Lower St. Clair township in March of 1847. By 1853, Dorothy is remarried to a man with the last name of Avery or Areny. She stated she had one minor child by the name of Thomas B. Perkins.

 *He was listed as a minor child in 1847 and was appointed a guardian

I find a land purchase deed dated 3.10.1847 recorded in the Allegheny Co., PA Deeds 1847 Book. Mrs. Elizabeth Snowden & George & Eliza Ogden of Pittsburgh, PA are selling land to Thomas B. Perkins of Lower St. Clair township, Allegheny Co., PA a parcel of land located in Lower St. Clair Co., PA. Beginning at the northwest side of the Pittsburgh and Stubenville turnpike road for $345.00 (Lot 11) as well as a second parcel on (Lot 8) for $250.00.

I find a land sale deed dated 4.22.1848 recorded in the Allegheny Co., PA Deeds 1848 Book.  The Administrator (Michael Hanrahan\Hanahan) of the estate of Thomas B. Perkins is selling the same parcel of land located in Lower St. Clair, Allegheny Co., PA, beginning at the northwest side of the Pittsburgh & Stubenville turnpike road to Andrew Young the highest bidder of $185.00. The land was situated in the Snowden & Ogdens Plan of Lots (No. 11) in the township of Lower St. Clair because Thomas B. Perkins sufficient to pay his just debts. He was ordered by the Oprhan's court to sell off the land. The widow, Dorothy Perkins consented to the sale of the land on 2.19.1848

I find another land sale dated 3.28.1853 recorded in the Allegheny Co., PA Deeds book. The guardian (Alfred "Fred" McCalmont) and the administrator of the estate of Thomas B. Perkins Sr. (Deceased), sold more of the land in the Snowden & Ogden lot to George Nesel\Heltzel for $170.00
