2nd wife PHENIAH "Phena" (LEONARD).
b.1763 N.C. d.1840 Clinton Co., Ohio. In 1802 they came from
Guilford Co., N.C. to Waynesville, Warren Co., OH. In 1804 they settled in Clinton Co., Ohio.

Rev. James Handasyd Perkins b.1810 MA
d.1849 OH. Son of (Samuel G. & Barbara Cooper (Higginson) Perkins -
brother of Thomas Handasyd Perkins, both sons of James & Elizabeth
(Peck) Perkins). His wife
SARAH HART (ELLIOTT). They removed from Boston, MA to
Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio in 1832. He was a lawyer and a newspaper
owner in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1849, believing that his two sons,
ages seven and nine, were dead, Perkins apparently jumped into a river
from a ferry-boat and drowned. His
