Reuben Perkins b. 1787/1788 VT or Canada East d.1859 Moretown, Washington Co., VT. Son of (Elisha & Catherine (unknown) Perkins) of Canada. His 1st. wife RACHEL (PARKHURST) b.1787 d.1850 VT. His 2nd wife CATHERINE (SIMONS). They were listed on the 1820-1850 Vermont Census at Moretown, Washington Co., NY.

Their known children were:

1. Allen Perkins b. 1814 VT m. Catherine (Unknown)
       1a. Reuben Perkins b.1848 VT

2. Philura Perkins b. 1815 VT m. Edwin Gibson

**It has been noted on the internet that this Reuben Perkins b.1787/1788 was a son of Elisha & Catherine (Birch) Perkins
as well as the brother of Joel Perkins (below). *More research is needed to prove this relationship

Joel Perkins b. 1787 d.1851 Moretown, Washington Co., VT.  His wife CLARISSA (CALKINS). They were listed on the 1840-1850 Vermont Census at Moretown, Washington Co., VT. It appears he moved back and forth from Vermont to Canada and back to Vermont several times.
